What's new in v0.1.0.1

changelog

River Client 0.1.0.1 fixes the in-game River menu sizing and keeps bugfix builds on the 0.1.0 line.

  • Launcher home screen now matches the cleaner River layout with quick tools, session history, and What's new.
  • Social drawer is back in the launcher with Shift+Tab support from in game.
  • In game UI is now a fullscreen NoRisk style click GUI with category, list, and inspector panels.
  • HUD editor sidebar was removed in favor of a minimal drag toolbar.
  • Instance export now saves River only .rvr archives with mods, resource packs, and shaders.

Built for clean PvP

The useful parts, up front

The stuff you actually touch, in reach.

HUD

FPS, CPS, ping, potions, armor, coords, zoom. Drag it around and lay it out your way.

Launcher

Instances, Microsoft login, content browser, themes, crash tools, all in one window.

Name tags

Rainbow, gradient, fade, glow, waving, River badges, and your own tag in F5.

Modrinth

Search and install mods and shaders without leaving River. Setup's a lot less annoying.

Safety

Visual stuff only. No bypass junk, no token-sending. Your data stays on your machine.

Updates

Click once and you're updated. Launcher and mod share one feed, so nothing desyncs.
